On October 15, Founders Andrey and Julia Dashin attended the 11th Cyprus-Russia Charity Gala at the Presidential Palace in Nicosia. This prestigious event celebrates the cultural, political and business relations between Cyprus and Russia and aims to raise funds for the Radiomarathonios – one of Cyprus’ oldest foundations for children with special needs.
The Charity Gala was held under the High Patronage of Mrs. Andri Anastasiades and was attended by many key political and business figures of the island. The show was nothing short of spectacular; featuring Prima ballerina Liudmila Konovalova, “People’s Artist of Russia” Valeriya, the world renowned ‘Danilov Moscow Monastery Choir’, and the acclaimed Greek singer/songwriter Kostis Maraveyas which had everyone on the stage dancing.
Founder, Andrey Dashin commented on his support of the Cyprus-Russia Gala by saying:
“It is a privilege to be in a position to be able to support one of Cyprus’ biggest cultural events that is hosted for a great cause. Radiomarathonios motto for 2017 is that “any help is a new story of love” and everybody knows that both my wife and I started the Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation out of the need to help children in Cyprus. The Radiomarathonios Foundation supports children who need all kinds of therapies (e.g. speech therapy, physiotherapy etc), children who cannot afford wheelchairs or medical assistance and provides special education and psychological support to both children and their families”. By showing our support to the 11nth Cyprus-Russia Gala, we hope that we will not only raise awareness but also encourage more people to follow our example.”
With an ongoing mission to provide a helping hand to anyone in need, this is the second time the Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation has supported the Cyprus- Russia Gala.
